Frustrations and fears, have no end
Sighs and tears, are your closest friends
Exasperation is dear, joy it will fend
Pain’s your peer, its stings it sends
Cries and jeers, can only defend
Sadness is near, and your heart it mends
Rage and depair, a helping hand lends
Road’s never clear, only riddled with bends
You try to steer, there’s no one to tend
To your gears, can’t tell where life wends
It seems just to veer, it follows no trend
And not an ear, its listen will spend
But how good to hear, forlornness suspend
As you come to the end of a broken sonnet penned
